Intended use – The GEM Premier 5000 cartridge is designed for fully automated, near-patient analysis of heparinized whole blood samples. It enables the measurement of blood gases, electrolytes, metabolites, hematocrit and co-oximetry parameters. The cartridge contains all necessary sensors, reagents and integrated quality controls and is intended for use in various clinical settings such as acute diagnostics, perioperative care and laboratory environments.
