The microINR is a portable analyser for determining the blood clotting time. The INR value shows how long it takes for the blood to clot. A functioning clotting system stops bleeding. If this is disturbed, bleeding tendencies or thromboses can occur. For treatment, the INR value is determined and drug therapy is initiated accordingly. The microINR is used in clinics in the laboratory, in doctors' practices and in outpatient care facilities.
