Did you know which other factors can affect CRP levels? In practice, CRP is often considered in connection with acute infections. But there are also some increasing factors. These include, for example: smoking, obesity, lipid metabolism disorders and type 2 diabetes. On the other hand, taking lipid-lowering drugs as well as aspirin can lower CRP.
