ProtoFluor Z is a hematofluorometer dedicated to the measurement of zinc protoporphyrin in whole blood.

ProtoFluor Z is a hematofluorometer (front face fluorometer) dedicated to measurement of zinc protoporphyrin (ZPP) in whole blood. Elevated ZPP levels can be detected before iron deficiency anemia becomes clinically evident and is a much more sensitive diagnostic indicator than hematocrit.
